Honi Vibe

Honi Vibe
Meet the PicoBong Honi, an ultra discreet, simple, and vibrantly colored bullet vibrator. To me, bullet style vibrators are one of the best types of vibes for everyone and should be one of the first toys in anyone’s arsenal because they are really only limited by your imagination. They can go anywhere and can be used alone or in conjunction with other toys. This particular one excels in the discreetness department because it has no external battery or control system that you typically see in a lot of bullet style vibes. This is a great companion for a trip or for wearing out of the house if you’re so inclined.

The vibe can be used in a lot of different ways whether you’re a man or woman, and can be used externally or internally with equal effectiveness. For example, for solo play I have used it anally or actually placed my balls through the strings and had it dangle while using a plug at the same time to add extra excitement. For partner play it can also be used on nipples or on the clitoris for a little foreplay, or inserted vaginally or anally during oral or during penetration for a lot of extra excitement.

The Honi is mostly made of silicone with a bit of plastic on the base, and has a little black cord for retrieval. It is very lightweight and pretty hard, with a slight plastic scent upon opening. I found it wants to retain a bit of scent from the locations it’s been.

Honi is a pretty easy toy for anyone to use because of its fairly small size. It’s about 3 1/4″ long and has a diameter of about 1″. I think the size is perfect for a bullet vibe. With it off, you could easily forget it’s even there, which is exactly how it should be.The shape is more pointed that a lot of other bullet vibes that I’ve seen, which allows for easy insertion which is great. A dab of lube and the little guy will go anywhere. I did find that the cap didn’t always want to line up with the overall shape of the vibe and still be able to turn on which did create a noticeable bump when inserting. It isn’t something that hurts, but it’s not something that feels good either.

I also found the cord to be a little short overall making it somewhat easy to “lose” and require extra fishing. During vaginal penetration with it inserted anally it managed to work its way in pretty far and was somewhat difficult to retrieve. I would like it more if it had a longer cord.

At first glance you might not even be able to figure out where it turns on. The PicoBrand logo is really the only thing on the toy and hidden within the P and B are the controls. They were able to pack a lot of function into something some tiny which is very impressive. It can range from low vibration to pretty high considering it’s size, and has 12 different vibration patterns. The patterns are mostly your usual vibration patterns that you may have felt in a number of other toys, however I did find the random pattern to be pretty cool and not a common setting in most vibrators, so to see it in a tiny toy like this was impressive.

Now for the annoying part. As you know, you insert the toy all the way in yourself…so what if you want to change the vibration pattern? Well, unfortunately, as I’m sure you’ve guessed, you have to remove it to change it. To me this is the biggest downside of this toy.

The power of the vibration is pretty good considering it only uses one AAA battery. Speaking of which, it’s great that it uses a AAA instead of some weird watch battery size. The instructions say it only runs for a few hours, but I found it to run for a lot longer than that when on some sort of pattern.

The toy is waterproof and seemed to live up to it’s claim. It’s a tad too cold outside to test it at deeper depths than a bathtub but it did pass the bathtub test.

The majority of the Honi can be washed easily with hot water and soap. Be sure to remove the battery and allow it to completely dry before putting the battery back to protect the circuitry. Also take note that the end cap has a little gap between the two layers that like to attract all the extra lubes lotions and fluids that were played with. Why they decided to leave that gap is beyond me, because it takes a lot of extra work to clean. I recommend using a q-tip to get in the little gap and make sure it’s clean.

Also, be sure not to use anything silicone based on this toy because silicone does not play well with other silicone!
