I loved the concept of this product. I was so excited to try it out. The straps are adjustable, but we just could not get them adjusted right. I am 5 feet tall, and I’m not sure if our door jams were exceptionally high, or what the problem was, but it just didn’t work out. We used a step stool to compensate though.
The product seemed sturdy enough. If I wasn’t afraid of breaking our cheap doors, it probably could have held me up off the ground completely. The adjustable straps were a plus. The anchors seemed to be well enough crafted to have a lot of wear to them, although we only ended up using the product once or twice due to the whole height problem.
I’m sure that there are other ways that you could use this product. As long as you have something to secure the anchors behind, it would work well. My husband suggested taking the anchor pieces out and tying the straps to the headboard, but we have yet to try that.The cuffs were super soft and felt great on my wrists.
There isn’t much maintenance as far as this product goes. The straps could be washed in the washing machine, and that is about all you would have to do, if you even needed to do that. Very easy to take care of, store, they are low maintenance.
